Drink Like a Serbian
This tour is about rakija. Rakija is a general term for "liquors" made from various fruits grown in Serbia. The most important is šljivovica (plum cognac), for which Serbia is and has long been the world's leading producer, while other common varieties include lozovača (from grapes), jabukovača (apple), kajsijevača (apricot), dunjevača (quince) and so on. During this tour we will show you a typical rakija bar and the distillery where the rakija is made.
